Racking inspection is mandatory

There are several instances when you need to have your warehouse racks inspected. When installing the storage systems or after repairing them, you must have them inspected to determine whether they meet all standards. At a minimum, a yearly inspection is required. All mechanically loaded steel racks must be inspected. Think of pallet racks, wide-section racks, shelving units, cantilever racks, roll-through racks, and automatic racks. Not everyone can carry out an inspection. Article 7.4a, paragraph 5 of the Working Conditions Act states that an expert natural person, legal person, or institution carries out inspections.
